Like many free spirits, Linden sought travel as a necessity to life's ongoing education, and has spent time in Africa, East Asia, Mexico, and Russia. Outside of her travels, she excelled at social work, the book business, and Russian translation before settling on food and beverage in the greater Boston area. She moved to Savannah in 2017 and settled in Chattanooga one year later with plans to open her own bar.

Her mother is a classically trained chef and her father a commercial beekeeper turned landscape ecologist. A love of rolling green hills and swimming holes stems from her upbringing in Vermont's Lake Champlain Valley. Linden loves to entertain and views a great dining experience as a right rather than a privilege.
